How long have I worked in mental health?

  • 6 years

Mental health experience

  • I commenced my mental health journey in 2020 as a mental health support worker and I am now a fully qualified psychologist and have gained experience in public (Austin Health) and community mental health settings, where I have worked with people across the lifespan. I am now working at Elementa Psychology where I am continuing my journey to full Clinical Psychology endorsement.

Who do I treat?

  • Children from 12+, adolescents, and adults.

Areas of expertise

  •  I work with a variety of presentations including: anxiety, depression, stress and change, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, and health psychology. I also have experience and a particular interest in treating eating disorders,

My therapy style

  • I am passionate about offering a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive environment for people to explore their challenges. I am guided by values of compassion, curiosity, inclusivity, and strive to support people to move toward self-understanding, well-being, and a sense of empowerment. I have a particular interest in attachment and relational patterns, and how early experiences can shape our sense of self, coping, and the ways we connect with others, as well as experience working clinically and in research with eating disorders. My practice is primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
