Elementa Psychology was founded in Ivanhoe in 2008 and has grown into two clinics in Heidelberg and Kew.
Our team of fully qualified psychologists includes experienced Clinical Psychologists and Psychologists with six years of training and experience, alongside those undertaking further training to become endorsed in Clinical Psychology through the Psychology Board's two-year registrar program. Every psychologist here maintains the highest level of professionalism and ongoing professional development to the same standard we'd want if we were the one asking for help.
Mental health issues and life challenges are rarely straightforward, and neither is the decision to ask for help. It's common to feel unsure whether now is the right time to seek psychological support, or whether psychology is the right fit, but reaching out is the important first step. Now it's our job to work with you to help you feel better. You don't need to have the right words ready. You just need to be ready to be heard.
When you get in touch, we take the time to understand what you're facing before we match you with a clinician. The right fit isn't just about availability; it's about who has the right experience for what you're bringing.
Our foundations are built on trust and not just the trust between a client and their psychologist, but trust in the practice itself.
As registered psychologists, every clinician here is bound by the Psychology Board of Australia's Code of Conduct, overseen by AHPRA, Australia's national health practitioner regulator.
We treat the security of your records as seriously as the therapy itself: we work with an external IT security provider to ensure we are aligned with the Essential Eight cybersecurity framework. We review and update those protections on an ongoing basis to keep pace with the sophistication of emerging threats.
Eighteen years in, that's still the whole model: rigorous where it needs to be, so you can trust Elementa both in the room and behind the scenes.
