My therapy style
-
My work is collaborative, honest and approachable. I seek to provide a safe and stable base for people to gently explore difficult topics and ultimately gain more satisfaction in life. I believe psychological therapy should be practical and as such, my treatment plans usually draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have also completed Level 1 training in EMDR. This is a suitable treatment option for single-incident trauma that I enjoy incorporating into my work where appropriate.
