The Federal Government has recently expanded the Better Access program to people in rural Australia. This means that rural people can now receive up to 7 of the 10 Medicare rebated sessions via video link.

The rules do stipulate that 1 of the first 4 sessions needs to be face-to-face to help build a personal connection with the treating psychologist.
